Please do not use the word 'Ozzie ' ever again when referring to a hospital. &shake&

It was an aberration, borne out of laziness to a degree, together with an inherent need to be loved and accepted.

It will not be repeated.

Well deserved after all her years here and in the town.
After all what is time, a mere tyranny.

Snow and ice forecast overnight for North Wales
Dec 11, 2014 16:10 By Tom Davidson

Snow and ice is forecast to hit high ground in North Wales overnight.

The Met Office has given a yellow “be aware” warning for five counties, as part of a storm dubbed a “weather bomb”.

Plunging temperatures are predicted to see snow and ice hit Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd and Wrexham from midnight.

Up to 5cm (1.9in) of snow could fall on some parts of high ground.

The extreme weather will also hit mid-Wales, wit 70mph gales are also expected in south, east and west of Wales.

A Met Office statement said: “The public should be aware of the potential for hazardous driving conditions.

“Even at lower levels there is a risk that rain may turn to snow which could be heavy on the hills.

“Following clearance at the end of the night, there is an increasing risk of ice forming on untreated surfaces.”

Speaking of the weather, there's a fair dusting of snow on the Carneddau this morning. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... ;D

The phrase 'weather bomb' comes from the US, where it's been in regular use for some years. This is the first appearance of it over here, and it does rather devalue the whole idea of a 'bomb', I think.

Just switched on the BBC News programme and it's saying that the air space over London is closed until 1900 hrs tonight due to an IT/Computer problem, so all incoming flights to all the London Airports might have to be diverted, and all outgoing flights are delayed.

Missing woman’s car found in North Wales

Detectives searching for missing 48-year-old Michelle Webster from Sheffield have confirmed that her car has been found in North Wales.

At around 9.30pm last night, Saturday 13 December, officers from North Wales Police found Michelle’s silver VW Beetle in the Colwyn Bay area.

Michelle was last seen leaving her place of work in Woodseats, Sheffield, at around 2pm on Monday 8 December. She was due home from work at 6pm but did not return.

Officers continue to work closely with North Wales Police, who are making extensive enquiries in Wales to try and locate Michelle.

Detective Inspector Stephen Handley said: “We are grateful for everyone’s assistance in sharing our appeal thus far. We have now found Michelle’s car in the Colwyn Bay area but there has still been no contact or sightings of Michelle since Monday.

“We remain incredibly concerned for Michelle’s safety and wellbeing and I’d urge anyone in that area to report any possible sightings of Michelle to us immediately.”

Michelle is white, 5ft 5ins tall and of a medium build. She has short blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black dress with black tights and black shoes. She was also wearing a three quarter length grey trench coat.

Anyone who may have seen Michelle is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 1041 of 8 December 2014.

Missing Michelle Webster found safe in north Wales   $good$

A Yorkshire woman who went missing on 8 December has been found safe in north Wales.

There were concerns for the welfare of Michelle Webster, 48, from Sheffield, after her car was found in Colwyn Bay.

She was found on Wednesday by someone walking their dog in Penrhyn Bay, Conwy, and has been taken to hospital. Her family has been told.

Det Chf Insp Steve Whittaker of South Yorkshire Police said he is "absolutely delighted" Ms Webster has been found.

He added: "I am indebted to the support we have had from North Wales Police, who conducted extensive enquiries alongside our officers to bring Michelle home safely for Christmas.

"Thank you to the public in South Yorkshire and Wales who shared our appeal so widely and sent so many messages of support."
