Assuming you had been on the beach there (and it happened in daylight), would you have seen anything?

I doubt it. Maybe a startled crab, scuttling for cover :-)

It was very loud in Llandudno. Only seemed to last a second though, so I promptly went back to sleep.  ;D

I never heard a thing, but then again I never do once asleep. *snore* *snore*
In fact the first I heard was when I just read this Forum, some 18 hours later!

The jackdaws in the rock face across the road went ballistic and woke us up around then but no tremors of note.

There's currently a large grass fire on Conwy Mountain, on the Conwy Morfa side.

I walk there often, hope the sheep are ok. They have just reappeared after being gone for a long time

A 50-year-old man has been remanded in custody accused of  wounding, rape and possession of a knife in what the prosecution said was a drugs-linked incident.

Craig Holness of Troed y Bwlch, Deganwy, appeared before a special weekend court at Llandudno.

John Wylde, prosecuting, alleged that a woman had been attacked by a man wearing a balaclava who placed a plastic bag placed over her head.

She had five stitches for a finger injury and suffered  cuts and scratches to the  head and had been traumatised.

Simon Sargent, defending said Holness “had from the outset maintained his innocence”.

The case was sent to Caernarfon crown court.
