Llandudno named ninth in UK's top ten destinations
Published date: 22 May 2013 | Published by: Iwan Berry

LLANDUDNO has been named one of the UK’s top ten destinations.

The seaside town is ninth in this year’s TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Destinations Awards, which honours the top destinations in the world as decided by millions of travellers.

London topped the poll, followed by second place Manchester and Glasgow (third).

Torquay, in eighth spot, was the only other seaside town to make list.

A spokesperson for Visit Wales said: “We are delighted that Llandudno in Wales has been recognised as one of the best destinations in the UK.

“A beautiful seaside town, Llandudno boasts a special, Welsh charm, Victorian elegance and beautiful beaches.”

It woke me up. There was a crash and the house shook. I thought it was one of the herons on the roof or something until I read the news this morning.
