MISSING: Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 58-year-old man not seen since Sunday. Robert Davies left Vaughan Lodge Residential Home on Vaughan Street in Llandudno at 4.30pm on Sunday and has not returned since.

He is described as a ‘bit of a loner’ and a heavy smoker and needs regular medication.

When he left the home he was wearing a check shirt (colour unknown), black trousers and a green coat, which comes to above his knees.

He is originally from Porthmadog, and has been known to visit the town on occasions. Anyone with information is asked to call Llandudno Police Station on 101.

Thanks for letting us know, mate. I'm surprised it didn't sell, there appeared to be a lot of interest in the auction. Whats your opinion on it, John, is there a viable business there?

Beaumaris area of Anglesey badly affected by Flooding today:

BEAUMARIS: Our photographer Richard Birch is on the scene and describes the scene as "dramatic". Although no properties have flooded, the houses on the seafront were millimetres away from being flooded, according to the mayor. Richard says the car park and village green are like a lake, with one van stranded in the middle, the water level halfway up the wheel. Water levels reached just a foot or so from the top of Beaumaris pier walkway.
