I was told by a senior council official the lack of money being spent on Llandudno is down to the cost of vehicle fuel.

Sounds like an excuse for bad management to me.

Put them on bicycles!

Just been told this afternoon that the Celtic Fayre in Llandudno has been cancelled.
Anyone any news on the subject?

Anyone watch this? A gritty documentary about people serving life in prison, this show featured a young man from Llandudno. Well worth a viewing on More 4 for anyone that missed it.

He murdered someone over football in Scotland. Had a bit of a troubled past before that as well. I remember about a year or so before he had been arrested for racism against a local restaurant owner. It was quite widely reported locally as I remember. Big surprise seeing him on the TV

Has the junk shop in Madoc Street gone?  It's empty and a man painting the outside this morning.  Also Hoosons being emptied of old shelves etc.  Plus Digging by the Cenotaph.  Phew it's all go.

Noticed a bee or wasp on the traffic island.  Must be the gardening competition time of the year.  I always think that it's cheating to just swoop in do the gardens just for the judges and then disappear for another year

My spies tell me that the fenced off area by the Cenotaph is for the installation of the new Floral Clock.

As a sequel to this news. I understand that the Council are employing a team of Consultants to advise them on where to put the numbers!     L0L

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH

The Pay & Display car park will be closed to the general public on Friday 20 July until approx. 2pm.

We apologise for any inconvenience but the closure is to accommodate those attending the funeral of Barbara Scott, who was one of the Church's deputy wardens and long-time church worker.
