Scottish Power has said:

“There is a power cut affecting the LL31 and LL32 areas of Llandudno Junction, Deganwy and Conwy and surrounding area.

Our control centre will attempt to reset the network remotely to restore power in stages, and our emergency response team are on their way to site to investigate.

Llewelyn Chambers is, or was, 9 Llewelyn Avenue.  For many years the offices of Bone & Payne until they relocated to Madoc Street about 40 years ago.  It then became the offices of Aston Hughes, Chartered Accountants and now base of MSI alarms. An attractive, detached red-brick building.

I had a look at the web cam early this afternoon and the car park was quite full so that was nice to see but I hope that there was no trouble with anyone on the sandbanks.
Just looked at it again just now and it was really interesting with a car coming down the top of the Marine Drive and it looked like a helicopter going over in an easterly direction.    Anglesey Road was well lit up too and the views from there must be stunning at all times

BUSINESSES that have not applied for coronavirus funding are being urged to submit their application as soon as possible.

The Welsh Government Restrictions Business Fund was launched to provide single payments to the hospitality sector and related supply chains in December.

It has since expanded to include non-essential retail and other businesses directly impacted by the Christmas restrictions.

The fund, which includes a Non Domestic Rates grant and Discretionary grant, covers the period of restrictions from December 4 to the end of January.

Conwy County Borough Council is administering applications for the scheme and applications can be made via the council website.
