This is all I could find on this incident

"Serious incident" on the Great Orme
The coastguard has said that they dealt with a “serious incident” on the Great Orme in Llandudno this afternoon.

They were called at around 1.48pm alongside the Penmon Coastguard.

A spokesman said they will not provide any further details on the incident.

The incident today was a fatality, unfortunately. Always looked that way due to the initial silence surrounding it. From the coastguard:

Quote
Further to our previous post:

We were paged at 13:48 this afternoon after a call from the Ambulance service to reports that a male had fallen from cliffs on the Great Orme.

Arriving on scene it was clear our rope rescue skills would not be required, however, we needed to assist with casualty care.

The team assisted the Ambulance Paramedic and Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service - EMRTS Wales Doctors with casualty care but despite our best efforts we were unable to resuscitate him and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this extremely difficult time.

Further to the above sad news.          ref. BBC.

The victim who died after plunging from cliffs in north Wales has been confirmed as a 17-year-old boy from Greater Manchester.
Coastguards and paramedics tried to revive the teenager following the fall on The Great Orme at Llandudno on Sunday at about 13:40 BST.
Police are working with the coroner to investigate the "tragic death".

RAILWORKS have forced the Flying Scotsman to cancel its trip to North Wales this weekend.

Arguably the nation’s most famous steam engine, ex LNER A3 no 60103 the ‘Flying Scotsman’ will no longer cross the coast on its return journey to Holyhead from Bury on Saturday.
The trip has been cancelled due to late notice of engineering works now taking place between Manchester Victoria, Eccles and Salford.
However, a trip the following week from Crewe is still scheduled to go ahead.

The train will depart at about 10am on Saturday, September 22, and will pass through Prestatyn, Rhyl, Abergele & Pensarn, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno Junction and Bangor stations on its way to Holyhead.

The Flying Scotsman is scheduled stop in Holyhead for three hours , before making its return journey at about 8pm. ref Pioneer

Historic steam train The Flying Scotsman will be coming to North Wales this weekend, it has been revealed.

Organisers have confirmed the world's most famous locomotive will travel along the coast to Holyhead as planned.

Spectators and ticket-holders were left disappointed last week as engineering works in Manchester derailed the plans for the Flying Scotsman to travel along the coast on September 15 .

However Pathfinder Tours, the firm behind the trips, have announced the Ynys Mon Express will still go ahead as previously scheduled on September 22, travelling along the North Wales coast as it steams towards Holyhead.

The Flying Scotsman will carry passengers through Chester and the Dee estuary, speeding past Prestatyn, Rhyl and Colwyn Bay before crossing Stephenson’s Conwy Castle Bridge.

Travelling from Crewe on a route dubbed the Ynys-Mon Express, the steam-hauled Anglesey-bound journey will see the train stop at Bangor for a water break before departing for Holyhead.

Bri. A piece in the pioneer mentioned Alan Pegler ?  who originally bought the FS,  I looked him up, various bits of info, including, surprisingly, that the FS had been in the USA and Canada.   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Pegler

This is why North Wales Freeview services will stop working from tomorrow
The disruption will affect more than 44,000 homes across the region.

People in North Wales who watch Freeview may find they have no signal after today (November 13).
The free-to-air broadcaster has been making changes to the way some channels are transmitted and the impending disruption is expected to affect over 44,000 homes in the region.

Planned work to the local transmitter means viewers across the region may lose access to channels including BBC One, ITV, S4C, Pick, Dave and more.
The move follows a decision by Government, allowing some airwaves used by Freeview to be reallocated to allow for the future development of mobile broadband services.

Transmitters across the UK are being updated as part of a major engineering programme being carried out between now and 2020 to meet growing demand for 4G services.

When will it happen?
The changes will come into force on November 14, 2018.
Who will be affected?
According to Freeview, the disruption will affect viewers with other terrestrial-based TV services that offer Freeview channels, such as YouView, BT TV, TalkTalk, EE and NOW TV.

Satellite and cable TV services will not be affected.

The updates to the service will mean viewers who watch via the Llanddona masts may experience disruption.
Areas served by the Llanddona transmitter are highlighted in green (Image: Google Maps)
Located on Anglesey, the transmitter serves homes on Ynys Mon and beyond, including the western coast of the Llyn Peninsula, Caernarfon, Bangor, Llanfairfechan, Penmaenmawr, Conwy, Llandudno and some areas of Rhyl and Prestatyn.

An on-screen message will confirm if your signal is expected to be affected.
How to fix it?
Freeview viewers may need to retune their TV equipment (Image: Chester Chronicle)
In most cases, retuning Freeview TV equipment is straightforward and only takes a few minutes.

The exact process will differ slightly between makes and models.
Step 1 Press menu on your box or TV remote control.
Step 2 Now select set-up, installation, update or similar option. If you’re asked for a password the default code is usually 1234 or 0000.
Step 3 Select the ‘first time installation’ option (sometimes called ‘factory reset’, ‘full retune’ or ‘default settings’).
Press ‘OK’ if your equipment asks if it is OK to delete existing channels. This will clear your existing settings and find the new channel line-up. If prompted then save the channels that are found.

Depending on your TV equipment you may need to reset channel favourites and any scheduled recordings.
If you need further help you can find retuning instructions here
Or you can call the Freeview advice line on 0808 100 0288

I think it's more geared towards installers but a site I have found handy over a number of years with changes in frequencies, etc. is the UKFree site.  Here's a link for Llandonna: https://ukfree.tv/transmitters/tv/Llanddona
