Well, now I'm being told off by SWMBO who says Mr Priestley is a very nice man and a good councillor I'm simply being too pedantic.    <:<:<:<

He's good at spending money in his Llandudno Junction powerbase to keep the electorate sweet. The rest of the County...not so much.

Looks like the drainage work in Deganwy near the Harbour View chip shop has virtually finished, and so the main road should be back to normal shortly.

Although the work appears to have been completed, the lights are still there tonight. Presumably they don't want traffic running over the newly laid asphalt too quickly!!

Just come along Glanwydden Lane and there has been a nasty two-car smash about half way down and the Police and Highways Dept. are in attendance. I had to wait about 10 mins. with the one-way sysyem in operation so if you are in a hurry avoid the area.

Fires on the mountain near to the old Llangelynin Church tonight.

According to NWWN it was a controlled burn started by a farmer and left unattended!!

How can it be a controlled burn if it was left unattended?
(I am not attaching any criticism to NWWN as I know what they mean, but it was somewhat irresponsible of the person supposedly controlling the fire!)
