In that case, the NWWN must have been mis-informed.

The site meeting was for councillors, I was told that businesses were not aware of it.

Anyway what is the solution.

The solution is quite simple.

Businesses and Business people and the general public have to realise that the infrastructure of a town has to be maintained.  Nothing lasts forever and pipes, buildings, roads, cables etc. etc. have to be not only maintained, but replaced or altered on a regular basis.

Providing such repairs, alterations and renewals are carried out with the minimum of disruption, and the public are made aware of road closures and diversions or other works related necessities there should be no complaint.

Apart from consultations there are Public Notices published in the press and nowadays even on Council and other web sites.   If we are made aware of forthcoming problems it is up to us to adjust our own plans and actions to ensure we are still able to function as normally as is possible.

In the case of emergencies notice may, of course, not be given.

If my wife wanted a new pair of shoes from David Roberts she would have had no problem achieving her aim, and if she couldn't get there today she would do it another day.  No sale would be lost I can assure you!    :D

And getting back to the taxi rank, I would have thought most retail businesses. Would welcome a taxi rank outside with people arriving and departing, rather than cars with one or two occupants parked for hours on end outside. Mike

If the past is anything to go by the
Llandudno Junction to Aberconwy
buses are the first they look at to
cut for financial savings.

I just went past the Camera Obscura, and saw that some thugs have been trying to rip off the lead from the roof. It looks as though it was too tough for them and it has been left flapping about and abandoned... unless they plan to return this evening.
I was wondering whether you have the details of who owns it, as they might want to be informed. Perhaps you could pass on the message.

What a shame and thanks for letting us know. Does anyone happen to know who is currently running the Camera Obscura? It's two men, isn't it, don't know their names or contact details though.

I was surprised the helicopter from RAF Valley was called out.

Where was the Air Ambulance?
