That's strange Gwynant because it has never stopped them putting it back on the beach before now.
Also the sand on the lorry was actually from the beach, it was not sand that had blown over the wall so is it all contaminated?

Another flypast not quite the same as above, but unusual, there have been dozens of planes passing over head today, including a Biplane which I spotted at a distance flying over the pier, anyone get a better look ?   about 10 mins ago a small plane (stock photo below) passed low overhead, the only one today that showed up on plane finder.

I mentioned before about the Coastguard taking over the cafe's web cam for potential safety issues, by chance I managed to get a few screen shoots this afternoon during the scan, the cameras range is extensive, I noticed quite clear shots across the river, and the quad bike on patrol, (although the photos below are not the best examples)

The FOWS volunteers have been busy as usual, despite the times, litter picking and general maintenance also a bit of gardening.  &well&

I was awakened at 6am this morning, by what I eventually took to be a gully road sweeper, and wondered if we there had been flooding,
or an early preventative measure, I could hear it in the area for about an hour, talking with the next door neighbour after his dog walk, he said he could see work vehicles flashing lights etc, on Abbey Rd outside St Davids hospice. anyone else heard anything ?

Yes, we heard it and wondered what was happening. Too early for the usual sweeping.

The road was flooded yesterday so with all the rain last night it will be worse, the drains there get full of sand and this useless council don't clean the drains enough.

I've noted when I've driven past before  that that area by the Hospice is prone to flooding so there must be something wrong with the drains.
Could they be blocked with windblown sand I wonder?      &shake&

Just come back from our walk, water all gone but why are all the leaves in piles 🤔 The road sweeper had been about but it looks a mess. 😳
