If they call an orange, an orange, why don't they call a banana a yellow?

Because it is the adjectival name for a citrus fruit.    So you have an Orange citrus fruit and a Yellow banana.  But then how do you get a Straw berry when it is usually red?    ZXZ

My old Geography teacher had a sign over his classroom door that said " Manners Maketh Man And Woman"

His widow sent me this poem which had read out at his 80th birthday party, so any teachers out there this could be your epitaph, I love it.

"ONE HUNDRED YEARS FROM NOW"

One hundred years from now
It won't matter
What kind of car I drove
What kind of house I lived in
How much money I had in the bank
Nor what my clothes looked like
BUT
The world may be a little better
Because, I was important
In the life of a child.

If I was ever given one week to live, I would spend it with my in-laws.

It will feel like the longest period of my entire life!
