Singers and songs we don't admit to.

I'm starting this as I'm not quite sure where to put it.

In a Llandudno thread, I sort of got to folk music and gave one tune as a slow air.  For me, I know it as a John McCormack song - my father has a few of them and I actually am very comfortable with his perhaps more operatic tones.

I'm also fond of Jeanie with the Light  Brown Hair and  Beautiful Dreamer -I think Stephen Foster but in public, even if I could do those,  of his I'd most likely do "Hard Times Come Again No More"

Things like Howard Keel and Doris Day doing Take Me Back To The Black Hills can get me singing.

Any other "confessions"?

(And I'm of the glam rock age so Slade, etc. was just natural childhood, I think)
