Accident on Llanrhos Lane at about 4.45p.m. this afternoon.  Don't have details of what happened but looks like 2 people injured.  Fire engine in attendance and 2 medic vehicles.

There was a RTA on Thusday in Penrhyn Bay.

Five young people have suffered minor injuries after a crash in Penrhyn Bay on Thursday.

A silver car is thought to have left the road and hit a tree near the Queen's Head T-junction at Glanwydden Lane.

Paramedics, police officers and firefighters were all called to the scene around lunchtime.

All five were taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Bodelwyddan as a precaution.

Don't know anything about that one!  There was an accident there some weeks ago when a tree and telegraph pole were damaged.  Pole has since been replaced.  Which media did you get it from?

Should have checked the date - it was in Feb.  L0L

Just had a cold caller (the Penrhyn Beach estate is a no cold calling zone) who spoke to Mrs Merddin, saying he's with a company that services electrical equipment, offering a Nissan Micra or £6000 cash prize on a so called raffle ticket. I appeared and said 'I'm not interested' I read the small print, I saw something about having to have a home demonstration. I said 'sounds like the Kirby vacuum cleaner thing' which he denied. I said again 'I'm not interested' and he went off accusing me of wasting his time!  :rage: $angry$  I shouted after him to get off my drive and could he not read the notices I have saying 'no cold callers'  Words were exchanged and I told him I'd be phoning the Police (which I have) he and his half wit assistant have dissapeared, hopefully back to Liverpool which was the address on the card (sadly he kept the card). The Police seemed helpful, hopefully they will find them and have words, I'm still annoyed at being accused of wasting the cretin's time :rage:

Just had a very nice call from the Police, they'd sent an unmarked car round but no sign of them, looks like i scared them off $angry1$ :) They were very grateful that I told them about it.

It's closed now and the notice on the door say's to contact Home Cooking

The floral display at Penrhyn Bay is a bit disappointing this year!
