You're spot on Norman.      The mistakes that those in charge have made have not only been stupid but will be very costly for the ratepayers too.

If CCBC  has made any New Year's resolutions I hope that these are included with them

West Shore Sea Defence  disaster
West Shore Cycle path
Penmorfa Hotel building site
Pier Pavilion site
North Shore beach and building rubble
Mochdre Industrial depot for Heavy vehicles

Social media chat about this sign which has apparently appeared recently,  I thought cycling was approved on the prom.

I wonder if it relates to the vehicular crossing to the pier rather than along the prom itself.

I wonder if the sign may have been mischievously turned around 180 degrees?

Not so Bri, Google Maps has an Image dated Aug 2018, we just haven't noticed it before.  *cycle*

Man arrested in connection with double robbery in Llandudno
North Wales Police said a man was arrested in Bangor on Thursday morning.     That's the second time in a few years that Billy Macs has been targeted

Just going back to the Tudno Castle and retail units.  I don't if it is me but there doesn't seem to have been any activity on site for the past couple of months.  Anyone noticed the same and any thoughts as to why this should be ?

At least a couple of months, Cambrian.

I cannot see any corporate branding for the Premier Inn either which leaves me wondering if the Tudno Castle Hotel may be up for sale behind the scenes.

Btw, it is only a long shot on my part.

I've said it a few times, premier inns were laying off staff before the pandemic came along, they got the planning ok ages ago so why haven't they done anything for months, I have the same feeling as Brian about it maybe comming on the market, 90 bed hotel with no real parking unless they get a deal with the rail station or the Parc people.

Norman, a new 90 bed hotel with no parking can still be highly attractive and lucrative to certain individuals with what is currently going on down in the English Channel.

Heaven forbid. Let’s hope we both have it wrong.

Nothing, nothing at all ..honest!... and if you try to prove the opposite, and film what is going on with the migrant boats, you can now find yourself under arrest under recent laws passed to prevent it.
Boris and Priti Patel were elected on a strong pledge to stop illegal migration, but if they actually can’t prevent it, they will stop the reporting of it instead!

What annoys me are the regular announcements by the Government saying that they have prevented migrants from coming to the UK.
When I was in school the word "preventing"  meant putting a stop to something.
All we seem to have done is to meet these boatloads of migrants out at sea and escort them safely to our shores.  That's not prevention that's more like assisting them

Quite so Hugo.  What puzzles me is that many claim to asylum seekers.  They will have travelled through at least one or more EU country to get to the channel so why is asylum not claimed in the first country they land in from wherever it is they are escaping from ??
