COMPETITION: Win tickets to sail on the historic MV Balmoral in LlandudnoTHE Pioneer is giving away tickets to sail on the historic MV Balmoral ship.
After a successful relaunch from Llandudno Pier in-front of hundreds of spectators last month, the vessel - built in 1949 - will be returning to the resort next month for a week-long series of voyages.
The Balmoral will return on Friday, September 4 and depart on Thursday, September 10, and readers have the chance to win tickets for two classic cruises that are scheduled.
The first is a sailing from Menai Bridge at 1.30pm on Friday to Llandudno and Red Wharf Bay, with a trip around the Isle of Anglesey planned for Monday, September 7 at 12pm.
Paul Doubler, spokesman for the Balmoral, said: “Things have been difficult this summer as we have had to cancel a lot of sailings due to adverse weather, but we are hoping for better fortune when we visit Llandudno.
“The relaunch was a fantastic occasion and it was great to see so many people come out in support of the Balmoral and we hope to see even more turn out for the voyages we are putting on next month.”
The competition is offering two prizes, with the first prize being a family ticket for either day, while there is a consolation prize of two adult tickets also up for grabs.
