Well done Gwynant, exactly right!
I hear that since we went there the cafe has got new owners. I hope they do well. I like the village atmosphere in Craig- Y- Don.
I haven't been since October but I hope the new people have sherry!

Le Gatte is now a joint venture with Poyntons the Butchers involved and (unsurprisingly) a stronger focus on meat dishes. Less of a coffee shop and more of a Restaurant now.

I noticed this for the first time earlier this week whilst out and about in the Three Towns Area. It looks like it has been there for quite some time but where is it?

Well done Mike, not far from you, right opposite "Lilleys", (see pics). I must have passed it loads of times on my bike but never noticed it until I stopped to speak to someone this week and saw it. Hugo, I guess you noticed it when you were photographing the progress of the sand removal further along. On that subject the boating pond is now drained (and ponging a bit as well!) and there are many tons of guano-laden-sand in there, and the swans have wisely moved on.  Maybe the green liquid which was poured in recently was to try and disinfect it?

It's on the promenade in Llandudno and the street light gives it away, but is it the one near St Georges Hotel?

No, Hugo.

It is the one on the promenade outside the North Wales Theatre.  ;)
