Where is this strange looking structure in the Three Towns area and a bonus point for anyone who can tell me what the building in the back of the photo used to be?

Dave, of course you were right to bring an end to that question, it was indeed Cafe Indulgence, in Clonmel St.

I shall be there again in the morning!

As far as your intriguing question goes,  could be a huge cannabis farm?   next door to me??

Are you walking along the town walls in Conwy, DaveR, and is that building in the back of the photo part of the former Royal Mail Offices on Bangor Road?

Close, but no cigar, Bri. It's certainly in Conwy and you might indeed see a very similar view from the Town Walls, but this photo was taken from a rooftop dining area...

Would the flat roofed building be the Legion club?

It's not the Legion, I'm afraid, Mike.

Correct! The building in the background was once a bar/nightclub called the Wheelhouse that was derelict for many years after it closed. Entrance was just behind the bus shelter on Castle St, now a house.

Why did I think it was called the Castle Marina?

3 Guys go to buy a telly

Shopkeeper asks for £30

Guys hand over a tenner each and take telly

Telly only cost £25 really, so the shopkeeper had taken a fiver too much.

Shopkeeper has flash of conscience and decides he cant steal a fiver just 2 quid

Runs out of shop and tells guys he made a mistake and gives them a pound each back

So guys paid £9 each (total £27),  and shopkeeper kept £2---  (so thats £29) --wheres the other pound gone?  ?{}?

Correct ME!

Plus, I like the sophisticated technical diagram you created to prove the point.

I did like the little conundrum though, and I suppose it is all about how it is phrased, did you like it?
