I don't recognise the place but is it on the top of the Nant Y Gammar to Penrhynside walk?

No, unlucky Hugo, I can  understand where you are thinking of, but in actual fact it is high up in the Llandudno area.

No sorry Norman, but you are on the correct high Llandudno area.

No, Norman, you were on the correct "high area" with your first guess, which is further away from me!

Well done Snowcap, that is exactly right. I walked from above Bishop's Quarry near the summit down through Pen-y Ffridd and Pant-y-Ffridd and then down to the prom just in time to see the Three Castles cars start to leave at 0700.  I reckon I must have been standing practically next to M.E.  after seeing the photo of the Hillman Imp he posted earlier today which was the first car away this morning.. Early mornings are definitely the best time of the day in this weather!  The photos show the view looking down onto Pen-y-Ffridd and the view looking back up to the ruined cottage.

Where would you find this building in the Three Towns Area?

My initial thought was the old tower on the top of Nant Y Gammar but if it is then it must have had it's first coat of paint in years.

Maybe the old windmill at Glanwydden Lane that was turned into living accommodation some years ago.    &shake&

No Hugo, it's not in such a rural or elevated area, and certainly the last time I was up on the top of Nant-y-Gamar the tower up there hadn't been painted.
