It's a house, Mike, albeit one attached to a tourist attraction...?  ;)

Just seen it on the Lodge or gatehouse next door to the Welsh Mountain Zoo.     Don't know the name of the house though.

Been past there so many times and even chatted outside the place to the people living there but hadn't noticed it before now.  Good question Dave.   $good$

Judging by the incline I will guess Rhos Road.

Combermere Gardens, Rhos on Sea.

There was a Combermere Lodge, near to the Cayley Arms. ZXZ

Indeed. The building is the centre of the photo is the Cayley Arms (looking from Colwyn Bay side). The area to the right (where the public toilets, tourist information office and gardens now are) was once a walled off private house called Combermere.

Was easy really.  I enlarged the photo and the word DETAILS was exposed.   I clicked on that and the rest was easy.     Even got a link to you on Flikr.

Just for the critics - I never Googled this one!    :D

Where will you find this tunnel in the Three Towns area?

Looking at the type of stone in the picture, it is similar to the stone on the pier so I would think that it's under the old Pavillion or the Grand Hotel itself.

Good logic, Hugo, but this tunnel is actually in the Colwyn Bay area....

Is it the old tunnel that runs from the Station to the Prom?

I'm afraid not. This tunnel is not in the town of Colwyn Bay itself but in the 'greater Colwyn Bay area'.

I would hazard a guess at the Tan Lan / Rainbow Bridge area of the Expressway in Old Colwyn as it looks like a tunnel under the Expressway/ Railway but I don't know the exact location, as I have only cycled past there on the cycle path.
