Where would you find this scene, and to which building does the spire in the foreground belong?

Yes, I hope to go there soon but I'm not walking up that steep section, I'll go by car instead.       ^*^0

Well if no one else is going to say, it's the Vivian quarry in the background behind the Dinorwig Quarry workshops, now the National Slate Museum, well worth a visit!

Isn't this thread supposed to be Three Towns only?    No wonder there were no answers!   WWW

That's right M.E., and it certainly is well worth a visit especially on a wet day and also as it is free! Apologies for not replying earlier but I was out last night. Many people obviously knew the answer but nobody seemed to volunteer a reply for some reason. I also realise now I posted it on the wrong thread (Sorry Yorkie!), it should have been on the "out of area" thread and I will try to be more careful in future!   All the best to everyone in 2013,

I did 25 miles round the towns looking for that darned steeple!    You're forgiven.   ;)

We have been there and it s fascinating what can be produced from the stuff.   Must go again during one of our country drives.
