I am of the opinion that the quiz about William and Henry is much too obscure.  I have found any number of William and Henry references for 1908 but cannot suggest one of them that is the least bit "sensational".  :weeping:

A clue is that the 'William & Henry' was a boat, a Coaster from Ireland to be precise. It was moored out in Llandudno Bay in 1908 when a storm blew up and.....

William Henry a schooner of 57 tons ; built 1847 in Nevin (nefyn); 30 Sep 1883 Belfast to Caernarfon in ballast, lost on Wilson's Point, Bangor Bay; crew taken off previously

The WILLIAM AND HENRY was a 35nt wooden schooner built in 1839 and registered at Dublin. At time of loss on 8 January 1908, the vessel was owned by S E Pim & Co of Wicklow and under the command of T Doyle. The schooner was carrying a cargo fo salt and had sought the shelter of the anchorage in Llandudno Bay, It was caught by a north-northwesterly force 9 gale and blown ashore.
