Well done SDQ, it is Ysgol Bodafon.
The architect for the school was George Felton of Mostyn Estates and he designed the attractive Gothic design for both the school and the school house next door where the headmaster lived.
The school must have got its name from the nearby Bodafon Farm and the Welsh names used to have a special meaning.
Bod = home
Afon = river
but this has always puzzled me as I'm unaware of a river being there although there was a thatched cottage in the area east of Bodafon fields that was called Adwy Rhydd (Ford of the stream) so there must have been a watercourse there at some time. Chris Draper did also say in a book that the Mostyn Estates altered the drainage and as a result Ffynnon Sadwrn had its flow of water reduced
Hollins, the school is at the back of the Bodafon fields.
