That's a good guess Nemesis but guess which school it is because it's not St Georges.

Well done SDQ, it is Ysgol Bodafon.        &well&

 The architect for the school was George Felton of Mostyn Estates and he designed the attractive Gothic design for both the school and the school house next door where the headmaster lived.
The school must have got its name from the nearby Bodafon Farm and the Welsh names used to have a special meaning.
Bod  =  home
Afon =  river
but this has always puzzled me as I'm unaware of a river being there although there was a thatched cottage in the area east of Bodafon fields that was called Adwy Rhydd (Ford of the stream) so there must have been a watercourse there at some time. Chris Draper did also say in a book that the Mostyn Estates altered the drainage and as a result  Ffynnon Sadwrn had its flow of water reduced
Hollins, the school is at the back of the Bodafon fields.

Thanks for the explanation Hugo. Good question! You had everyone guessing on that one I think.

George Felton was also the architect for Holy Trinity Church and I think he was Mostyn Estates' architect wasn't he?

Yes he was Bellringer and to be fair to him the buildings look very good even today.  The school house is now privately occupied and no longer connected to the school, having been sold by Mostyn Estates in 1990.
I was talking about the school house just a few weeks ago and by coincidence the friend and former colleague whom I had known for many years told me that he lived there years ago when his father was Headmaster at the school!
