The sign said Mail House Apartments. It is next door to the Post Office.

Could anyone tell me what the buildings of the mail house, post office and Mostyn gallery used to be? They are very grand.

The Post Office and Oriel Mostyn were purpose built. What is now the Mail House Apartments was the upper floors and sorting room of the Post Office before it was moved out to Maesdu Road.

Thanks both for the info and the photo. Fancy going to all that expense for a post office! I could understand it more for the gallery.

It looks very like the area outside the Cafe in Ysbyty Gwynedd, but that ain't in the 3 Towns, so I am just making an observation!     $good$
