Fester is closest in terms of what it actually is. In terms of location, it's not on the Quay or in the actual town itself.

I was thinking that it formed part of that stone tableau, (sorry I don't know the street name) ... but its the one which has translations of basic phrases and numbers from Cymraeg into English?

Come to think of it, that Tableau is slate grey.  So probably not.

...is the correct answer! Well Done.  :) The plaque marks the opening of the Conwy Road Tunnel by HM The Queen in October 1991.

isn't that in junction?

I know the one... I have sat there many times, resting my aged knees, before continuing my walk to Conwy.
It probably is classed as being in Llandudno Junction, that side of the estuary has to be surely.

Nooooo, the railway line is the boundary in my view.

We need Pendragon's view on this taxing question.  ;)

Hmmm, good point. On the other hand, the plaque commemorates the opening of the Conwy Road Tunnel?

I would say that was in Junction,  I've always considered the end of the Cob to be the beginning of Junction.  However what would I know, I'm from Pen (the posh part of North Wales)  ;D

Definitely Llandudno Junction.

The tunnel goes under the river Conwy.
