I've got a little Vixen by my side who was born and bred here so that helps somewhat!    L0L

I believe one of her Great Grand parents lived in a house named Grassendale in Mostyn Avenue, Llandudno.

Related to Robert Claire Baxter no less.

This little building in Conwy is a branch of a highly respected business - where is it and which business?

The photo I think is taken form the Town Walls next to Mount Pleasant Car Park. If you cut through the pedestrian access in the way from the car park you come out at the back of Bangor Rd.
I think this is the view of the bak of one of the Businesses opposite the Archways Fish and Chip Shop.

From your clue I was tempted to say Antony Flint Estate Agents, but I thought they were on the corner direct opposite The Albion. But I'm confused by the term "branch" as I'm not sure the other businesses have branchs.

Is it the Fair Trade Shop, or  in fact Antony Flint

The location is right, the business is not.  ;) The building is an old bakehouse separate from the businesses on the main road and houses a branch of a national company that is highly respected in its field.

That explains why it is much plosher than the businesses on Bangor Rd. I passed this on the day of the Seed Fair, and remenber a brass plate but for the life of me can not remember what it said. Architects?

Just cheated and looked on Google Maps is it Donald Insall Architects

Its not Fletcher and Poole is it?  Or is that too low down?

All I can think of is the Raj curry house and charity shops other than that... no national businesses spring to mind up there?

Bad boy! :o  Yes, it is the Wales office of Donald Istall Architects, the foremost practice of conservation architects in the UK. I believe they are involved with the shortly to be unveiled plans to renovate Gwrych Castle in Abergele.

It certainly is.

21st of June 1936. She anchored off Penmaenmawr to repair a sail, but was dragged over to the West Shore in a fierce storm.

Her cargo of coal is being unloaded in the above photo.

When the tide is out, it's possible to see the remains of her keel.

It featured on the Forum quiz a few months ago.  I thought it was the local bath house!
