Answer to Quiz:

No. of people = No. of Bums on one bench x No. of Benches

Total age = ((Age of Oldest + Age of Youngest) divided by 2) x No. of people

Colour = white

We can get on to more serious stuff now!      _))*
So what was the answer Yorkie to Q1 and Q2?      ???

I don't know - that is why I posed the question!   I was hoping that someone would be able to tell me.   I thought the "formula" may help if someone was having problems with their maths!     _))*  _))*  _))*

Answer is none for following pic.

The Victoria Restaurant was a long established business in Llandudno, from Victorian times up to about the 1950s. But where was it?

Don't know where it was - yet - but found this old bottle with their name!

Caption reads, "The Property of Thomas Smith
Victoria Restaurant, Llandudno
"Curwen Bros. Liverpool" Potters' Mark (Very Rare)"

I don't know how interested the current occupants of the premises would be?!

First clue - it was on Mostyn Street.

Correct! It seemed very popular in its time. The great survivor, of course, is the Cambridge Restaurant (on the First Floor above the old Gareth Roberts Opticians shop). That's been going since the earliest days of Mostyn Street. I've never been up there for a meal though, has anyone from the forum?

Whilst we're talking of restaurants, who can remember where the Princes Restaurant was?  Clue: It's still a restaurant today...

Funnily enough, I have always had a wish to sit in one of those window seats and have a meal.

I did it not too long ago but I wouldn't rush back.

Anyway, the good news I have now been able to cross it off my 'To Do' list.

Yes, I have eaten in The Cambridge, (well, where haven't I eaten?)
I was lured in by a sign saying something like   ''3 Course Lunch £5.99''    I think that was the price, my apologies to them if it wasn't.

Like Bri, I wouldn't rush back.... It was OK though....I got £5.99's worth,  which just about says it all....

It was actually above, what is today the Edinburgh Woolen Mill.

You can see it on the right in this view, with the white exterior, opposite the tram.

Sorry, yes, should have said. It's a restaurant in central Llandudno.
