That's a good guess Hollins and I can see why you went for that but it's not Hickory's

You can see the sign from the road but you can't see it on Google Street View.     I wonder why?

The property is on the breast of the sea if you are looking for it's location, does that help?

It's a well known street and if you drive past the property you will see the sign above the gate,  most people though see it when they are walking past.
If you can drive past it I wonder why it it is not on the Google Street map.

I thought that Gwynant would have at least got the name of the property by now as he must have gone past the place many times and I know Quiggs certainly has.         ???

I'll have to post a photo of this place in Llandudno if no one can guess it soon

It has to be on Llys Helig Drive, Hugo, now you have posted the gate photo. You are right I have walked past it many times, but never noticed it as we are usually walking tihe other way, having descended from the Marine Drive at the top of the gunsites. I got the "breast of the sea" cymraeg clue but when I looked it up it showed  me a street in Llanddulas!

Well done Meleri and Gwynant, the sign is on the gate at Bron Y Mor which is a house towards the end of Llys Helyg Drive.

I'm glad that you got the clue Cymraeg Gwynant but of course I couldn't make it too easy after that.    The strange thing is that Llys Helyg Drive is not on Google Street view but the smaller road across the way called Pen Y Ffordd Goch is.

I used to enjoy very much Quigg's Tales of life on the Gunsite so I knew that he lived there and would have gone past Bron Y Mor probably every day.

Just as an add on, the Royal Artillery School that was on the Gunsite used to fire live shells into Conwy Bay as target practise and in recent years they found a live shell on the beach about 2 foot long and exploded it in a field by Penrhyn Castle.
It went off like a clap of thunder but they didn't know that my friends and I were in a hide in the nature reserve not many yards away.    The wooden building shook like mad and the birds all did a fast exit from the area
