Well done Spotty Dog, you are spot on!        $good$

It was sad walking past there the other day when the whole place was closed, hopefully when this pandemic is finished the place will open again

Here is a quiz for today and it's in two parts and it's slightly different because I don't know for definite what the correct answer to the second part is.         I have a very vague memory from over 55 years ago and was hoping that someone could provide the answer I am looking for.

Part 1         Where is this building?

Part 2          What was it's previous use?

Good morning Hugo I believe it is on the main road into Mochdre opp the site of the old gas tanks .
I think it was a chapel

You are correct about the address Spotty Dog so well done on that,     $good$

As for the second part there is a Church or Chapel next door but this vague memory of mine thinks that it was something else.  I have tried looking on old maps but can't see anything so I'll leave the second part open for anyone to confirm what you have said or if they know differently

Hope that you are keeping well and staying safe.

Thanks Spotty Dog but I can't remember it as that,  I've made searches in a number of places but but haven't come up with the answer that I thought it was.
I've been curious about it for a bit but as we are in lockdown I thought that I would ask the question now

I have a vague recollection that it was a school room associated with the chapel.  Isn't the chapel now used by a traditional branch of the Roman Catholic Church who use Latin rather than English for their services ?

I did notice the sign saying it was a Roman Catholic Church and the Society of St Pius X  was on the board.       I've just tried Google now and it refers to St David's Chapel Mochdre
As for the building next door you and Spotty Dog may be nearer the mark than me because the windows on the small building are similar to those on Chapels and schools.        I'll try and find out for certain though but it will probably have to wait until things get back to normal

Nah, I spotted your deliberate misdirect on the second set of asterisks  ;) soon as I saw the 10% net returns I thought of Gavin Woodhouse
