The cafe was opened in the early 1900's and continued as such into the 1950's

That's a good guess Mull and I can see why you thought that, but it's not correct.    So where could it have been?

It sounds a lovely place to have had this single storey cafe with glorious sea views and sea breezes.         $walesflag$

Teas were served on the lawn or in the conservatory and parties catered for with parking for cars and a bus service but where was it?

This cafe was a single storey prefabricated structure made of timber and asbestos and was in a woodland setting. It had sea views and hill breezes too.                  $walesflag$

In it's latter years the business depended on Llandudno's army of Civil Servants who enjoyed country walks, but where were they walking to?

Thanks, Hugo.  It was the reference to accommodation which had me puzzled for quite a while.

My guess would be Midacres or failing that Bryn Awelon.

It was Bryn Awelon ( Eng  Hill Breezes ) Bungalow Cafe in Goedlodd Lane Pydew.

It's hard to imagine now but the village had two cafes in that small narrow lane

I must have walked past the place many times, but I had never seen it before.

Here's a clue  :-  Someone lived here for a while !!!
