I knew John from working with him for many years at Quinton Hazell Automotive, not only as a colleague and workmate but also as a friend and neighbour, my sincere condolencies to his family.

For any man, the passing of his father is probably the hardest thing he will have to face in life. My sincere condolences to you, Trojan.

I knew John from my early years in Cwm Place, in fact when I was very young I'd go round to John's mother's house and have a meal with them.   Ma Davies as she was affectionately known was a lovely person as was John and the whole family.
John will be sadly missed by many and my thoughts are with his family now.

Sad news indeed.  I was only thinking of John on Saturday and wondered how he was. Condolences to the family at a difficult time of the year.

Hi Trojan,  nice to hear from you mate, despite the awful circumstances.  :( :( :(

I Didn't know your Dad, but the numerous kind posts on this thread show very clearly what a popular man he was.
