Thanks for the welcome back. I must throw away my greasegun, don't want to silence the rattles!! In writing I note you are glad there should be less winds. Its a bit late to tell you but I have always reckoned that Llandudno is one of the windiest spots in North Wales because it has two coasts, and if the wind is'ent coming from one it will be coming from the other. Another idle bit of information which I THINK, I'm not sure, that I read in the forum-----that the last few months has been a period of exceptionally low winds. Mike

Mike, when I was on the Pier talking to Fester on Tuesday, two attractive girls came up to me to ask where they could find the 'Great Orme Family Golf'. I told them all about you but pointed out that you might not yet be open. Is it definitely April 1st you're opening?

Girls on the pier asking after me!!!!  Maybe fifty years ago, every now and then.   Oh, sorry, I misread your post, it was the golf they were asking about.   The official date by Council command is April lst.  But, it has been known for a quick phone call to me to produce strange results, flags flying from little posts etc. Say no more. Mike

Mike after today's Orme Golf leaflet spreading exercise I'm happy to report that a lot of the hotels/guest houses we visited to drop off flyers already had a set in the trays along with all the other "what's to do  in Llandudno"  leaflets. Where possible I made sure that yours now takes pride of place in the leaflet set. We also dropped off the leaflets at a lot of the smaller B&B's  and self catering establishments round the bottom of the Orme. I also left a few in the Cottage Loaf and have to admit that is the first time I've been in and out of the place without tasting the goods.

Re- the Cottage Loaf.
Well done on that front, Medz.  They are not renowned for assisting any other local business.
In fact the last approach I heard about was met with a degree of hostility!
