Peak District

We lived in the Peak District for many years before coming here. On this visit we were tourists and thoroughly enjoyed revisiting Buxton, Chatsworth and Haddon Hall.
Here are a few pics of those two houses which looked stunning.

Great photos, I used to attend the Game Fair, at Chatsworth, as you say stunning, but I was always to busy to have a proper look around, my loss,  thanks again.

We were staying with friends near Matlock in the week and one day we had a lovely walk which went past the most beautifully situated Dethick Church. Here is link with some info about it. http://derbyshirechurches.org/church/dethick-st-john-baptist

I took this photo of three ladies enjoying their lunch there and it reminded me of a female version of "Last of the Summer Wine."
We also saw this lovely mock orange tree nearby.
