Yes, the last time he did it four years ago, (only held every four years) his team got as far as Ireland going the same way round as this time and something major broke where the sail attaches to the mast. They had to do a sort of lash up to get to Dingle where they had to retire. His son had to fly out with his passport because Easyjet or Ryanair (can't remember which one) wouldn't let him board without one. Some members of the crew had to go back later when the boat had been repaired and sail it back home.
He's taken his passport this time but let's hope he doesn't need it!
