Wonderful. I've just blown it up in size and --- yes --- I can just make out Fester standing outside his kiosk

That is a lovely photo of Mrs ME.
Yes I looked through all the pictures and read the history behind them last night. It is a very interesting little book, thank you.

And here is one for Colwyn Bay.   Plenty of pictures and information on Famous and not so famous people of Colwyn Bay.  Politics, Business, Sport, Philanthropists and just ordinary folk are represented.  Also some people who just passed through such as Ivor Novello are also mentioned

Funny how things come and go in fashion. The Torquay pottery that I collect is a good example. Pots like this one would have fetched a good few pounds a few years ago but now, I think with the increased availability on ebay the prices have plummeted.
Not so good for my older pieces but makes this one seem like a bargain at £9.50.

I bought these this morning from one of the stalls at the Manchester Christmas market. The wreaths were 2 for £5 and the long one was £5. There are loads of stalls selling the same thing. They are all from the same company in Holland that send over lorry loads every day. This is the only stall I saw them at this price and it was the same last year. It is the stall at the Deansgate end of Brazenose Street.
The other stalls are £8 each or 2 for £10. No idea why!

Not everything is expensive in Switzerland!
I bought all these today in a secondhand shop for a grand total of 13 Swiss francs, about £9.

You were robbed, I hear you say!!!
