A view from the roof of Holy Trinity Church tower - the tower is reputedly 92 feet high

Cool photo's Stan, I've never seen views from up there before. I wonder how loud the bells would sound from that point?  :o

Probably louder than at ground level although I have never been up there when they have been ringing. When I have been up there though, I have been surprised how the "street sounds" seem to drift up and at times conversations down below on the Mostyn Street pavements are quite clearly audible.

Is there going to be another Son-et Lumiere this year Stan? I found it a lovely event last year.

I enjoyed that.  There is - hopefully - going to be a Christmas concert by the Trinity Players, date TBD, and that will be good.  If there's no S e L perhaps the hand bellringers might like to do a session in the mince-pies and mulled wine eats that will follow Trinity's concert?

No Son et Lumiere this year - sorry, but pleased you enjoyed last year's. It seems to be something which tends to be held occasionally.

Ian, if you let me know the date when you have the concert, I will see if we can put a band together.

Next Sunday 14 November the traditional Civic Remembrance Service will be held at Holy Trinity Church starting at 9.45am. followed by a march to the Cenotaph for the "two minute silence" at 11am.

Just a reminder that it is Remembrance Sunday tomorrow with ceremonies throughout the area.

For details of the Llandudno one see the post above.
