The Conwy Feast website still doesn't work for me, no idea why!  :rage:

Works OK for me still.

Pinc Ffloyd, Colwyn area based Floyd tribute band, are performing at Conwy Civic Hall on December 28.

You can support us and the Civic Hall at the same time.  ;D

Seen them before on the quay in Conwy, if it's the same lads they were excellent and I will do my best to get the night off and go down there.

My favourite Pink Floyd song is 'One Slip':

Thanks guys; yes it was us who played Conwy Quay earlier this year.
We played the Civic Hall last December and had a great time, that's why we decided to to it again.
Such a shame to hear it's future is in the balance; we've been assured that our booking, which was made some time ago, still stands.

Dave, I'm afraid we don't do One Slip although we're still expanding our reperoire.

On your recommendation, Bellringer,  we went over to Bodlondeb today  (coincidentally we got there just as the Lady Mayor was arriving to plant a tree). It's the first time we've been over there and I really enjoyed the woodland walk. Loads of animal and bird activity and a surprising number of Woodpeckers in the trees.I think it might be an old wives tale about the volume of holly berries being an indicator of how bad the upcoming winter is going to be, but if it is the case, then we are in for a really cold  one this year.

Glad you enjoyed it. I had every intention of going but my wife was ill and so I was confined to looking after her and doing a few things about the house.

Haven't been to Conwy for a whileso-- anyone know what is happening to the Antique shop  (Lovejoy's?) It was cleared out and workmen were in there middle of last week? It was featured on the Antiques Road Trip earlier this year.

It was all closed up with the windows covered over when I went past yesterday.

Thanks Ian, hope she will be OK in a few days - the menu is a bit limited at present!
