Don't worry about plucking up courage to post, you can get away with all sorts of rubbish here even if, like me, you know b****r all about Llandudno   :D
Yes the photos are fantastic, from the grainy vintage ones to DaveRs brilliant up to date ones, you'll be able to see even more photos now that you've logged in.

Thanks so much for the welcome posts!

The link to the gallery was great and I found the puzzling Llandudno photo fascinating. My sense of direction is hopeless and my first thoughts were that it was taken from the sea ! Can't wait to get home from work and take a closer look !
