Someone has shown me how to use the panorama button on the wonder camera so this is a test to see if it will come out on the forum.
Lovely sky yesterday morning and today after masses of lightning last night followed eventually by thunder and rain.

Clever these panorama features - a few weeks ago I came across a visitor to Bodnant trying to work out how to take one on his phone, so decided to try it myself as I had the same model of phone!  You can get a full 360° shot!

Lovely photos Hollins and DVT,   I have that facility on my camera but don't know how to use it yet.     :-[

Now Rhuddlan on the other hand would be the first to admit that he buys El cheapo cameras,  but they all have good lenses and he has perfected panoramic photos by a stitching method and comes up with some outstanding panorama photos.
Here is one he took when we were walking in the Mawddach Estuary

Thanks for that Hugo.
Here is one constructed by google photos "assistant".....no need to image stitch now  as it decides to do it for me! (sometimes mind)
I'm sure most people will know where the original pics, from which it was constructed, were taken.

I think this is a bracket fungus. I took the pic with my mobile mailnly for Tellytuby, as he likes such things.
He thought others on the forum might like to see it.
It was taken near Rhyd ddu.

Here' another quite spectacular fungus - seen on a tree in Bodnant yesterday - no idea what it is!

... and an unusual plant that I am told will get more spectacular as it changes colour!

If it's hard it might be a Ganorderma or possibly Meripilus giganteus if it's on a Beech. No idea about the plant, but it looks stunning.

Thanks Ian ... having googled both your suggestions I reckon it's the former.  Certainly impressive examples and I think was on a beech tree.

Thank you, no, we stayed at a different villa, I just liked the sleek modern design of the one in the photo.

Yes it was Mahon. On a previous trip to Menorca, we went on that yellow boat too, took us on a cruise around the harbour. Was interesting to see all the fortifications still in place, dating from the British occupation of the Island in the 1700s.

we were lucky enough to see Richard Branson on his landing stage for his little yacht ( couple of Million quids worth) when we were there, but your right the information they give you as your leaving the harbour was brill. it also made me a little proud to be British.
