I often get requests to license my photos for use in adverts, magazines etc but I was surprised today to receive an email from a representative of Twentieth Century-Fox, wishing to use one of my photos in an upcoming film! The film is 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children', which is being directed by Tim Burton, and based on the best selling book. They want to use the photo as a background poster in one of the scenes. Following some swift work by my Agent, Mr Knowles, a deal to use the photo was swiftly concluded. It will be the first time one of my photos has appeared in a film - exciting!  $good$

Hope you get mentioned in the credits  ;)

Dave, why don't you share the image on here?
As soon the rights for it will transfer to 20th Century Fox Productions!  (as soon as they have crossed your palm with silver)

Then, Forum members can look out for it, when the film is released.

Well done DaveR. Yes, it would be great to see it but if not, what is the subject matter of the photograph?

Thank you! It was one of the photos of Blackpool I took in 2013, oddly enough. I'd better not post it now that the rights have been sold.

Some of my photos are featured in this BBC article about the deserted mansion of Plas Brereton in Caernarfon:

I was moved by The Extravaganza to take some pics on my phone, and I think they should be considered an art form, (but I have been drinking)  ZXZ ZXZ

I call this one, 'Extravaganza Ride being dismantled in Upper Mostyn St, whilst I have a pint in The Gresh'
Powerful image, I'm sure you'll agree.
I'll post another on the Extravaganza thread.

Bit of a sad post, wonder camera has developed a nasty rash!   :(
Does anyone know if anything can be done about this?
Thanks.

PS: It is completely clean!

Looks like it is delaminating. If you Google 'Sony camera screen delamination' you'll see it's happened to quite a few people. There are links to YouTube clips showing you how to replace it or if you prefer I'm sure any reputable camera shop could do it for you.

Thanks SDQ. Just done that and I see what you mean. Not sure I would dare do it myself but I'll take it in somewhere now I know it can be fixed. Cheers.
