I'll have another attempt later, mainly depends on the mood of the 8 year old PC!  ;D

This is what passes for Art these days is it?   I hope I'm not paying for any of this nonsense.

I finally got up to one of the upper levels at Dinorwig Quarry at Llanberis today, to take a photo that I had been after for a while. It shows one of the former narrow gauge quarry railway line suspended in mid air after a collapse of the workings underneath them. The walk up the incline to get this photo nearly killed me!! Well done Dave-- it makes me out of breath looking at that steep pull.

It really was that steep! Had to stop to catch my breath three times, a real killer!

ME, I kept well away from the edge, there were a few big cracks in the ground that looked as though more could collapse at any time.

I can back you up that those inclines are that steep Dave, having gone up that way from the valley floor last time I was up there. There is some interesting footage on U-tube under "Dinorwig Quarries, Llanberis / Snakes, Ladders and tunnels" which shows some brave lads traversing the collapsed line but they are roped up to do it.

I was showing a friend the former Ferodo factory today when he reminded me of the new Panorama photo function on the iPhone. So, I gave it a go and the results were pretty good for a phone camera:
