I recently had some panoramic canvas prints made from DaveR's photos. I am thrilled with them.
They are not to everyone's taste though as Mr Hollins says, "I'll be suicidal if I look at those for too long!"
He did put them up for me though.
Thanks DaveR for all your technical help and for sharing your talent.

Fab! Did you use the same firm as me?
They were amazingly quick with mine.
Hope the move is going well.

Last week I went up North to visit my new Great Granddaughter and whilst there visited their local Max Spielman's shop. My daughter had a number of things printed including a 'block' photo. The place was heaving, but I was very impressed with how well everything was speedily dealt with and the results. The staff were excellent and took time and patience to deal with a couple of elderly people who had got bogged down with the serve your self photo printers. Speak as you find-- I was impressed.---Pity our branch closed !!!!

I've been away for a few days in Llangollen. The amount of snow they've received  there is incredible, every other building in the town centre has lost part of its gutters due to them collapsing under the sheer weight of the snow.

Anyway, this is the classic shot of the River Dee from the bridge.

...and this is the Corn Mill Pub/Restaurant, a sister to the Pen Y Bryn in Colwyn Bay, situated right on the River Dee. Fantastic food & drink in a unique building (the original waterwheel turns constantly behind the bar), with magnificent views:

Calling all photographers and technical types.

Why would it be, on a normal 'point and shoot' digital camera, that not all the pictures on the memory card are displayed when I review them?
They have not been deleted, and all are displayed when I put the memory card into my PC.

In this example, I have 250 pictures and 10 mini videos on the memory card, yet only about 40 or so are visible on the camera's review feature.

Were all the photos taken on the same camera? If yes, then probably some form of corruption on the memory card.
