I doubt it's that easy. The shot in question had clearly been photoshopped, but it's not that easy to identify all photos that have been 'tweaked'.

I think it must depend on the rules of the competition?

Pretty much every great photo you see these days has been photoshopped to some degree, you simply can't produce images like that without maniplulating them in Photoshop or Lightroom.

I'm not going to win any photographic competitions - Photoshop and Lightroom are all Double-Dutch to me!   It's about as much as I can do to press the shutter button and get the result safely on the 'putter.   :D

Perhaps there may be a local digital photography course, I wouldn't mind a go at some of this photoshoping!

There are immense resources to help on the internet. Photoshop is an Adobe application and Adobe have You Tube-style video 'courses' of their own, which are free to access. But mainly it's a case of try and see what happens.  All the best programs allow you to work on image 'layers' so you can't affect the original image in any way.

I do get up early sometimes! Happened to be in the right place to capture this lovely sunrise the other day.

A little bit of photoshop trickery for this photo of a bus stop queue on Gloddaeth Ave featuring six Amys.
