Dave: some folk might find it helpful if you were to include the settings used when taking the shot.  Just a thought :-)))

That's a good idea.Of the two photos in the post above, the sunset one was just done on the iPhone when I was out for a walk, so all settings are automatic on it.

With the shot of Colwyn Bay, most daytime landscape shots are done in Aperture Priority mode (shown by an "A" on the dial if it available), so you just set the aperture to something like 6.3 or 7.1 and the camera will decide upon the appropriate shutter speed itself.

A shot of the interior of the ruined former Ferodo factory at Caernarfon that I took today.

Now that I like, Dave!

I have some pictures, (only from my iphone mind) of an area where I used to work in Bradford.
This area used to house 3 major employers, and approximately 10,000 employees.   Offices, factories the lot.
Some of them only built in the 1960's and 1970's.

When I last visited in April, I was shocked to see that the entire area was in a state of partial demolition.
It was very poignant, and very sad.

Almost like Bradford had been hit by an atom bomb.

A return trip to the abandoned Baron Hill mansion on Saturday, showing a friend around. Took the opportunity to get a few snaps, here's one:

We also called in at the former Ferodo factory at Caernarfon, this is the former Security Office/Gatehouse:

I liked your cheery pumpkin photos too Andy.

What are people's views on this,

Should the photoshop be considered part of the "art"?
I'm not sure. If the overall effect is good then why not, but is the enhancement coming from the technology or the artist?

The obvious thing to do is have two categories, natural & enhanced. Problem solved.
