Yes, well done young man.  You will no doubt be insufferable for the rest of the day.  :laugh:

I recall that a week in Rhyl was my first ever holiday in North Wales when I was about 8 years old.
Prior to that it was always the East coast of England for us. (Filey, Scarborough etc)
Rhyl was an excellent place, full of things for kids to do.
The hotel we stayed in on Edward Henry Street was quite comfortable and pleasant.
I also remember splashing around in a fountain on the promenade.

Now, all the pleasant attractions are long gone, and I took a look at the hotel we stayed in just for nostalgia purposes, and despite being in a prominent area, it is now a DSS doss-house.

Says it all really.

Shall we celebrate your fame with a beer later?  Z**

Sunset at the Pierhead - done on the iPhone. Underneath the main decking, you can see the fenced off remains of the walkway which goes right underneath the Pavilion and used to come up via a flight of steps at the front of the building (by the Pierhead toilets). It was the main entrance onto the original Landing Stage.

ME, I like your latest experiments.

DaveR, congratulations on the Rhyl article, how sad the town looks.

I'm a bit late with my comments as I've been away for a few days but I did pick up a Daily Post on my way!

Do any of you owners of HP Photosmart printers use Photo Black ink?

In a rush to get a new ordinary black ink I got a Photo Black by mistake and had prised off the seal before I noticed - and my printer doesn't use this.
 :-}}}

So, if you could make use of a 364 XL Photo Black cartridge, send me a PM and I'll put it in the post to the first to reply.

Just couldn't resist taking this on my recent sojourn abroad.   Anyone know where it was taken?

How did you guess that?   Actually at the most Westerly point at Cape St Vincent.  A small piece of the Lighthouse building is  on the left.  I was on top of the cliff and it was blowing a gale, don't know how I managed to keep the camera still, or stop myself from being blown off.
