Here is a stunning picture taken just as the Eiffel Tower was struck by lightning in June 2008

Here is an equally stunning pic  of Llandudno in the snow last December. Looking down at Prince Edward Square from Camera Hill:

I love the reply 101 photo on the night photography thread. Only just saw that one last night.

Thanks, H.  ;D  I take so many photos that I don't have time to look through them all at the time. When I get a spare hour, I start having a closer look and picking out ones that haven't see the light of day before. Here's the side entrance to Llandudno Pier in the heavy snow last December:

..and the Prom in the Snow on that same day:

DaveR,

I do love all of your pics but the snowy ones are stunning......think the pier gate one is my fave, looks like it could have been taken a hundred years ago.......but then the prom one is coming a very close second !!  ;)

Great sunrise, ME, if only I could get up that early to have a go at the sunrise over the pier in Llandudno....

I just checked the time on the camera and it was half an hour slow! Looks like I took the pic at about 7.20am, not early at all! ;D
