What are North Wales' motorsport events worth to us?
This weekend's Rally North Wales spectacle will be analysed as part of an economic study.

Had a walk down the Prom yesterday, it was Porsche day, hundreds of cars, but disappointingly not many owners about for a chat, two cars stood out...... a Porsche 1600 Super, not sure of the year....... and a Porsche Speedster S with an unusual rear section, presumably to store the roof.

Come to Cars & Coffee on the Prom at Rhos next time . We were all there and happy to talk to all the passers by. We were even offering children the chance to sit in the drivers' seats. There's even inexpensive food and drinks from the Cayley tea hut. The next one is on June 18.

Interesting oldie spotted by my dashcam in the Junction this morning.  Really old one as it has the split rear screen, the bodywork was, shall we say, rustic!

Saw this car parked in Menai Bridge and that was rustic too, it must have been in the hedge for years.

The Beetle was still going - when I passed again about 10 minutes later it had gone!

Amazing how some "luxury" cars end up in the state of that Rover.

It does seem such a waste when you see cars in that state but what about these cars I saw in Cwm Ystradlyn about 4 years ago.  The interior of both cars looked in very good condition though.

It's the same with farms ... always amazes me just how much once-expensive machinery is left to rot away, presumably having been replaced by more-expensive machinery.

Warning to people who might feel inclined to buy a brown coloured car, that seem to be becoming popular at the moment. I bought a brown car in the 70s, after a few weeks I realised I had purchased a turd on wheels, a very unpleasant feeling!

Neil it could have been worse......

A driver in South Yorkshire has written off a £200,000 Ferrari he had owned for just an hour.
The Ferrari 430 Scuderia veered off the M1 motorway near junction 37, careered 50 metres down a bank and burst into flames on Thursday afternoon.
Police said the driver escaped with only minor cuts and bruises, and “officers do not believe excess speed was a contributory factor in this collision”
