I'm not really bothered about cars SteveH but your post did make me think about the various cars I have had. A trip down memory lane for me this afternoon and I think it has been nine different ones since my first Mini in 1976.

Like Nem, my list is quite long stsrting with a 1932 Austin Seven (just the ordinary one), then a Standard Flying Twenty, previously mentioned on the Forum, followed by an assortment of marques and Makes.  If you want a list I'll have to dig deep into the old grey matter!

My list would be enormous! I've been driving for over 40 years, well over 100 cars! We have 4 now!
From memory,  1 Ford Anglia, lots of Triumph Heralds, Triumph Vitesses, Triumph Spitfires, Triumph GT6s, Triumph 2.5 PI saloon, 3 Reliant 3 wheelers, Leyland Sherpa camper van, Bedford HA vans, Bedford CF van and camper van, Citroen 2CV and 2 Citroen BXs, lots of Morris Marinas, Jaguar 3.4 mk2, Jaguar XJ6, Jaguar Sovereign 4 litre (still got that!) Rover 600, (owned it twice and still have it! ) lots of Ford Fiestas, one Ford Escort RS2000, Rover 2000, Ford Transit van, Nissan Micra, must be moe that I can't think off at the moment! We still have a Triumph Spitfire and a Jaguar! Both of us are keen on cars!

Hi Merddin, We have been driving for the same time, but , I have only driven a quarter of what you have.
I'll have to go over it again, try and catch you up.

Hi Mike,  Mine was a split screen also , lacquer black red coach line, £17. bought from garage I worked in weekends,
I had a friend who worked in a chromium plating shop, near the garage who also worked weekends, if he had space and we could get it off the car, it was plated, it was very cool, for a young mans first car, maybe the first to be "PIMPED"... 8)
