Here are a few more that we saw in Mallorca recently. I hadn't seen the Twizy car before but it looked ideal for getting about the very narrow streets of the old town of Palma. We noticed that you could hire them from Hertz as well.

Earlier this year, I posted brief information about the Honda S2000 Euromeet.  The Meet was held in Italy and was a great success.  One of the members has written up details of the event which some enthusiasts may find of interest.  The link is here, if I have got it correct.   ZXZ   ^*^0

It is strongly muted that the replacement for the Honda S2000 is to be a mid-engined hybrid, but still utilizing the rear wheel drive configuration.  Can't wait!

Not sure about hybrids- think the battery technology is still not good enough yet for these cars to be realistically priced.
Think I prefer the original petrol S2000

Much better with the usual petrol engine and mechanical transmission. I expect that the manufactures  are trying to lower their emissions by bringing out these over complicated hybrids!

One of ours is an 'over complicated hybrid' and although the purchase price is a bit much the delight is not having to pay annual road tax :-)))  More seriously, I suspect you're right about the overcomplicated bit. There's certainly a lot of things under the bonnet which I'd not seen before.
