"Sorry," responds Tracey, "but Sharon is busy dealing with the two blokes in the Fiat Uno".

 Reminds me of the geezer pulled over on the M6 for driving an A55. Officer told him he should be in North Wales.

Heinkel Bubble cars.

 :)

I remember these also. Run into something at speed and you would break both your feet, and probably your legs too.

Was this better or worse than being in a bullet shaped side car with your head next to the bike's engine, over a distance of 15 miles  in bl**dy November 1962.
No wonder my hearings no good now, pardon I heard that.

How about a bit of quality now?  Does anyone remember the Crossley?

I don't remember them, but I am familiar with them. They were made in Manchester.

While we're on the subject, I forget to mention I bumped into exiled forum member BrumBob outside a supermarket in Sparkhill, Birmingham last year.

He sent his best wishes, after chasing me around the store for twenty minutes chanting "Zulu, Zulu".

I had a 1949 Morris 10, if you hit a pothole it was a matter of waiting to see what direction it was going to go,if you had a flat battery and you were on the bottom of a hill you could stick it in reverse gear and crank it up the hill with the starting handle. Then let it run down and jump start it. imagine  doing that on the orm.

Over at Wilmslow yesterday, you couldn't move for Porsches, Mercs, Audis and a couple of brand new Rolls Royces.
There must be some money in this football business, think I might dust my boots off.

It's a stunning Herald, can't be used though as the value would go! Anyway, I've just bought a Bugatti!

The camera seems to be so close to the car and one would normally take a full three quarter view, so I'm just a little bit suspicious!    ;D
