We've bought a few cars in recent months,
In May we bought a 2002 Mercedes-Benz C32AMG estate with 354bhp from it's 3.2 Kompressor V6 engine, a very fast car! Then about a month ago we bought something completely different,  a 1933 Austin Seven box saloon, a lovely car which gets lots of attention when you park it.
Then a week ago we bought a year old VW Up! GTI, amazing car , great fun to drive!

I was looking for something when I came across this article in the Cambrian News:_

I thought that if anyone could do this what else could they be guilty of so I did a car tax checker and found that a SORN notice is in force and the MOT expired 19th Dec 2018.
As the offence took place on the 26th March 2019 why didn't the Police find out about it?

A bit of information that might come in handy one day.

A parking ticket is something that most of us have experienced, and the majority of time, we just grumble and pay up.
But what's more frustrating is if you believe you've been wrongly issued with a ticket.

Well done to all involved.      ME I will still need reminded    :-[

THE Welsh Air Ambulance charity has received more than £1,500 thanks to an event which took place in Llandudno earlier in the year.

The second edition of the Mercedes Benz club’s ‘Mercedes on the Prom’ event held in the town in June raised a total of £1,570.
More than one hundred Mercedes cars of all models and ages were parked on the Promenade during the event, attracting more than 200 visitors to the area.

Mercedes Benz club members were given a detailed look inside the Air Ambulance helicopter before a presentation was made.

Further funds of £467 were raised by other guests at Llandudno’s Mercedes Benz gathering on behalf of the national RNLI team.

Mr Henderson said: “Such was the success of this event, that is going to be repeated in 2020 on Sunday June 28.

“It is open to all Members of The Mercedes Benz Club and once again all proceeds will be for the benefit of the Wales Air Ambulance.”
The charity relies on donations from members of the public to help keep its helicopters flying - with each mission costing around £1500 on average.

The cars at this year's Llandudno gathering were mainly sports and convertibles comprising various generations of the SL and SLK models but saloons, coupes and estate cars were also well represented.

Some of the rarer models were three 1960's "Pagoda" SL, and a CLK63 AMG Black Series once owned by Jeremy Clarkson. Further information, contact clive.henderson@mercedes-benz-club.co.uk.                                                               REF Pioneer

How many accidents were caused by those "speeders"?

Driving fast does not cause accidents ... driving fast inappropriately can.

Unfortunately the cameras cannot distinguish between someone driving fast safely (and gets caught) and someone driving slow but dangerously (so doesn't get caught).

Many other factors should be taken into account ... weather conditions, state of the road, amount of traffic, ability of the driver and car, amongst other things.

But far easier, and financially worthwhile, to employ a camera.
